How you’ll spend your time:
  • Manage and lead all financial functions, including: Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Planning and Analysis, cash management, profit management, risk & compliance management, banking, taxes and audit activities.
  • Develop tools and implement systems to provide critical financial information to the CEO and executive team to assist in critical decision making.
  • Play a key role in the refinement of the company’s long term strategy for the business to drive growth in both revenues and profitability.
  • Develop and monitor cross-functional KPIs and provide hands-on, metrics driven financial leadership to help accelerate growth and profitability, while maintaining FN’s market position.
  • Engage leadership team to develop short, medium and long term financial plans and projections.
  • Develop and execute corporate finance strategy including capital deployment and optimization of capital structure.
  • Accountable for accurate and timely preparation and presentation of all financial statements, tax filings and other related financial documents.
  • Provide insightful and trusted counsel to the CEO , management team and the board on both financial and broad based business issues, including BI, Dashboards, and data analytics.
  • In consultation with the CEO and Board of Directors, develop and execute a financial strategy, which optimizes shareholder value.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization such as the evaluation of regulatory changes, potential alliances, acquisitions and/or mergers.  Support the corporate leadership in making sound financial decisions, both through advice and by leading the financial team that provides any required analyses.
  • Manage the legal and compliance function, working with internal and external resources to ensure local, regional, national and international compliance in support of the strategic objectives of the company.
  • Act as the financial spokesperson for the company to manage day-to-day interactions with employees, potential investors, investors, government officials, financial institutions, customers and suppliers.
  • This position may require light, infrequent travel.
Experience and Background
  • Must have strong knowledge and experience as a CFO in a rapidly growing collaboratively-managed technology company.
  • Strong FP&A capabilities to include providing insight into the analysis at hand.
  • Experience in identifying and managing enterprise and credit risk.
  • Track record of recruiting, motivating and developing a capable finance team.
  • Experience with M&A, especially on the due diligence and integration side, is a plus.
  • MBA degree and/or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • Marketplace company experience a plus
