Get Paid Fast
On average, technicians on Field Nation are paid within 5 days of completing a work order, and most providers are paid in just 3 days. You can see exactly when you’re getting paid directly from the Field Nation mobile app for iOS and Android.
As soon as a client approves a work order, the payment is made the following Tuesday and Friday. Work orders approved before 1 PM CST (Central Standard Time) on Tuesdays and Fridays are paid that very day. This means that if a work order is approved at 11 AM CST on a Tuesday, the technician will get paid that same day. If a work order is approved at 2 PM CST on a Tuesday, the technician will get paid on Friday afternoon.
US residents can choose from three ways to receive payment:
- Direct deposit (recommended, fastest and easiest way to get paid). Field Nation deposits funds directly into your bank account.
- PayPal. Receive funds directly into your PayPal account.
- Check (slowest payment method, not recommended). A paper check is mailed the day that payments are disbursed. You can expect to receive your check 3-5 business days after payments are issued.
International users can get paid via direct deposit through American Express FX, or via PayPal.
Service providers on the Field Nation marketplace pay 10% of the total work order value (if work orders are $1,000 or more, service providers only pay 8%). Service providers who do not have their own insurance pay an additional 1.3%. This means if a technician completes a $200 work order, they will receive $180 if they have their own insurance, or $177.40 if they do not have insurance.
