Updates for Buyers and Providers
Part of a successful project is alignment between buyer and provider on what tools and/or equipment are needed for the job. Currently, there is no separate field in a work order for that information, and it is often forgotten or overlooked.
To help buyers more clearly spell out what’s needed for a job, we’re adding an optional Necessary Equipment field under the Work Categories section of work orders.
Buyers can indicate that a tool or piece of equipment is required, meaning a provider must have the tool or piece of equipment listed on their profile to request the work order/accept the route.
If a provider doesn’t already have the tool or piece of equipment listed on their profile, they’ll be asked to confirm before they complete the request. If they confirm they have the item, it will be added to their profile for future use and their request will go through. If they don’t have the item, they won’t be able to request the work order/accept the route.
By adding necessary equipment to work orders, buyers can help providers better understand what they’re expected to bring on-site, leading to a more successful project all around.
