Some Field Nation buyers want to maintain business-to-business relationships with the technicians and service companies they work with. Adding an EIN helps confirm that you own your own business and makes you eligible for more work.

We partner with Checkr for affordable background checks and drug tests. These screenings make it 68% more likely you’ll get work.
INSURANCE OPTIONS
Protect your livelihood with the right coverage
You’re required to have general liability insurance to accept work on Field Nation. You can upload your own certificate of insurance at no cost, or review Field Nation’s insurance options below.
General liability insurance
Field Nation’s General Liability policy protects you from a variety of claims including property damage and personal injury to others caused as a result of work done through Field Nation. All work orders on Field Nation require general liability insurance. You can either upload your own Certificate of Insurance at no cost or use Field Nation’s coverage for a small 1.5% fee.
Professional liability insurance
Field Nation’s Professional Liability policy – also known as Errors and Omissions- provides additional protection for negligent services performed through Field Nation.
Occupational accident insurance (OAI)
This insurance protects you from costs related to medical expenses, lost wages, and rehabilitation from injuries related to an on-site injury.
- Providers can purchase OAI on a monthly basis for a 1% fee.
- Some work orders require OAI. On those work orders, there’s a 0.5% fee on the total value of the work order, regardless of whether or not you have purchased OAI.
Workers’ compensation insurance
Technicians are responsible for carrying their own Workers’ Compensation Insurance to protect themselves and any employees from injuries that may incur.
HUB Insurance
Technicians can use any insurance provider to purchase their own insurance. Field Nation partners with HUB, an independent insurance agency, to offer competitive, convenient insurance packages. Field Nation does not profit from this insurance plan.
Upload your own certificate
Technicians can upload a Certificate of Insurance showing they have at least $1 million in general liability coverage. Insurance is required to request work.
Work with a claims expert
Clients or technicians should file a claim in a timely manner following an incident. Field Nation reviews the claim and works with you to resolve the issue.
