Understanding schedule changes (18:00)
In June 2024, Field Nation transitioned all Fixed schedules to Hard Start schedules, setting clear expectations for arrival times. This change eliminates confusion around “on time” requirements and improves timeliness tracking, enabling providers to meet buyer expectations and build trust.
Tools to prevent schedule conflicts
Field Nation automatically alerts providers about schedule conflicts and offers tools to resolve them, including:
- Conflict notifications when assignments overlap
- Enhanced calendar view for schedule visibility
- Direct schedule change requests to work order managers
Coming soon
A new arrival window schedule type is in development to offer more scheduling flexibility. This enhancement will allow providers to arrive within specified windows and set specific start times that work best for their schedule. The system will also include optional complete-by times to help with planning, though these won’t affect reliability metrics.
