The Field Nation mobile app is purpose-built for field service pros and is available in both the iOS and Android app stores. With the mobile app, field service businesses and independent contractors can find work, complete tasks, upload photos, message buyers, scan packages, collect signatures, track payments, and much more – all in real time on the largest marketplace for IT field service. 

Individuals and companies can use detailed profiles on the Field Nation marketplace to showcase IT field service experience, badges and certifications, and more to prospective buyers, including sections for:

• A professional photo of yourself
• Types of work, related skills, or keywords that align with your experience
• Equipment and tools you have on hand
• Any certifications, badges, licenses, background checks, or drug tests
• Extended employment history

SmartMatch is a feature within Field Nation Pro that allows you to create rules for the jobs you want and get notifications when those jobs are published to the Field Nation marketplace.

You can configure your rules by pay, specific buyers, types of work, time of day, travel distance, and more. When you receive a notification, you can then request the work by tapping the notification. Buyers still choose who to assign, but SmartMatch users never miss the chance.

Field Nation partners with Checkr, a leading provider of background screening services for businesses, to offer background checks and drug tests right through the platform.

These are not required to use the Field Nation platform, but it is common for buyers and/or their end clients to require one or both be passed each year as part of their Service-Level Agreements. After completing a background check and/or drug test, you’ll receive a badge along with the month/year the screening was passed, which is visible to and searchable by buyers.

The Business Dashboard, available in the Field Nation mobile app, provides valuable insight into the quality of service you deliver to buyers on the Field Nation marketplace. In the Business Dashboard, you’ll see:

• Provider Success Score: A comprehensive score calculated using your Timeliness Score, Backout Score, and overall Buyer Satisfaction. 
• Backout Score: Based on your last 30 assignments, Early backouts are weighted less than Late backouts, and No Shows have the worst impact.
• Timeliness Score: Based on your last 30 assignments, Too Early check-ins are weighted less than Late check-ins. 
• Buyer Satisfaction: Based on feedback from your last 100 work orders, collected privately from buyers to ensure accuracy. This provides insights into your strengths and areas for improvement.
