Build your business, grow your career

Keep track of upcoming work, manage the details that matter, and maintain a clear view of what’s in progress and what’s next. With everything in one place, it’s easier to plan your schedule, stay on top of admin tasks, and make day-to-day decisions that help your business run smoothly.

On-demand pay

On-Demand Pay is a feature included in Field Nation Pro, allowing users to receive payment on approved work orders as soon as the next business day using Direct Deposit (ACH), or within minutes using Zelle®. Non-Pro members can choose to be paid via PayPal or Direct Deposit (ACH) according to the payment terms stated in the work order, which can range from 0-14+ days depending on the buyer.

TripLog mileage tracking

TripLog is another favorite Field Nation Pro feature that allows technicians to track how many miles you drive for work orders right in the Field Nation mobile app. You can then use this data to claim a mileage deduction on your federal income taxes. You can either use GPS to track and log a trip automatically, or you can enter a trip manually using either distance or start and end points.

Yearly tax documentation

As required by the IRS, Field Nation issues technicians who received more than $600 in gross work order payments one 1099-K form at the end of each year – making it easy to prepare your tax paperwork. You can choose to receive your 1099-K form electronically or by mail.

Insurance

For General Liability, providers are required to either upload their own Certificate of Insurance (COI) or have an additional insurance charge for coverage through Field Nation.

The charge is deducted per work order, based on the total work order value. Providers also have the ability to opt into Occupational Accident Insurance (OAI), which provides injury protection specifically tailored to independent contractors in the event of an on-site injury.

Field Nation Community

The Field Nation Community is a dedicated space where technicians can connect with each other and engage with members of the Field Nation team. Technicians can ask questions, share tips and best practices, and get the latest Field Nation updates all in one place. The Community is accessible via the web and mobile apps.
