Marketplace Best Practices

To help maintain a healthy marketplace and ensure positive outcomes for all Field Nation users, we suggest keeping the following guidelines and recommendations in mind.

Professionalism

Together we can make Field Nation a marketplace where all users can accomplish great things while growing their business. As a professional platform, it’s important to maintain a high standard of civil and safe interactions.

Keep it professional

Contact that is unrelated to a work order is often unwanted. For example, reaching out socially, trying to visit someone after a work order has been completed, or engaging in any unwanted physical contact could all be seen as harassment.

Respect others

Avoid using profane language or comments/questions about personal topics, such as religious beliefs, political affiliation, marital status, and/or physical appearance, all of which could be seen as offensive.

Prioritize safety

During all Field Nation engagements, adhere to local, state, and federal laws and safety regulations. This includes refraining from any communication that threatens physical harm or encourages illegal activity.

Transparency

Representing yourself correctly is critical to creating an environment where providers, buyers and their clients can trust one another.

Accuracy

The information you put in your Field Nation account should be accurate (i.e. legal name, company name, location, contact information, credentials, etc.) and be kept up-to-date.

Authenticity

Authentically represent your experience, budget, scope, credentials, skills, and work history when publishing or requesting work on the Field Nation marketplace.

Authorization

A documented agreement between the buyer and provider is required to dispatch or bring anyone other than the assigned Provider to a work order location.

All are welcome

Together we can foster a positive and inclusive experience for everyone interacting through the Field Nation marketplace.
